In 1955, the Wagner brothers of Portland, Oregon announced their success with the first production ready articulating four wheel drive tractor. They began selling the TR-6, TR-9 and TR-14 models which eventually lead to several other models, including the WA-14 and WA-17s in the early 1960s.
John Deere’s original 4WD tractor, the 8010 was heavily inspired by the Wagner TR-9 that was tested at the Nebraska Tractor Test in 1956. On December 31, 1968, following Deere’s 8010 and 8020 attempts at 4WD technology, an agreement was made between Deere and Wagner to sell WA-14 and WA-17s branded as John Deere.
This 3D printed kit provides the basic structure for a WA-14 (220 HP) and/or a WA-17 (250 HP) Wagner tractor.
