These inserts were used on a variety of trucks and trailers made by the Tru-Scale company. These whitewalls can also be found on the pressed steel trucks that were made before and after Ertl bought the Carter / Tru-Scale company in 1971. These are often referred to as “Transition Trucks”.
This product is made using a high-quality, durable resin material.
Inserts should be pressed in before hubcaps. If inserts are not pressing in, hot water to soften the tire should be used.
